General information

On Wednesday, July 11th, 2018 at 5:00 p.m., Hodag Country Festival staff will post several starting points for the chair line. No lines may form before this time. The lines that form at the starting points should be no more than two people wide. At 6:00 p.m., security will determine the end of each line and close it off. A lottery drawing will be held to determine the order in which each line will take the chairs into the seating area. A chair line will be drawn from the east side of the grounds to be led into the seating area for seating on the east side; then a line will be drawn on the west side of the grounds to be led into the seating area for seating on the west side (no crossing over to the opposite side). The drawing will continue until all of the lines have been picked. Each person in line can have two (2) chairs, and each person can carry two (2) chairs into the spectator seating area. The chair line is an option many Hodagers enjoy; it is not mandatory to participate. Chairs can be put out anytime after the lottery drawing is finished.

When choosing your chair location for the entire weekend, please be aware that many of our artists do not want us to ask Hodagers to stay seated during performances. These artists enjoy the crowd excitement and participation. Therefore, if you want to sit the entire weekend, we suggest trying to sit behind the handicap section, and if you plan to stand for most shows, please avoid placing your chairs behind the handicap section. Also, for safety reasons, only one standing/sitting person per chair in the chair area will be allowed. Everyone attends Hodag to have a good time. Please respect those around you.

The Hodag Country Festival reserves the right to alter these rules at any time due to circumstances beyond our control.

For your viewing pleasure, the Hodag Country Festival has a VIP Lounge and Skybox Seats. These areas overlook the stage from above - the VIP Lounge from behind and the Skybox Seats from the side. The VIP Lounge Seats are sold per show. Prices and available shows will be posted and sold from the information booth after 10:00 a.m. each day. The Skybox Seats are sold for the entire weekend. Skybox Seats go on sale November 1st for $260.00 to $310.00.

There will be a band playing in the Pavilion every day starting Saturday, July 7th and a Karaoke Contest will be held on Thursday, July 12th.

• Carry-ins are allowed (no glass) in the seating area, but for safety and easy access for our emergency and security personnel, coolers must fit under chairs in entertainment area (coolers are not acceptable as seats).
